The Princess Mononoke series is an excellent example of a fantasy anime. It follows the story of a young warrior named Ashitaka who defends his village from beats but gets cursed in the process.

In the manga and anime, the Elric brothers are the only ones who know about the value of a human soul and have tried checking to see if it's true.

The Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood manga and anime is a story about the Elric brothers and their quest to find out the truth about the value of a human soul.

Conclusion

An escape into a world of fantasy is exactly what you get when you binge on these anime. Bear in mind that many of these anime are actually adult anime, but you can explore them nonetheless. My personal favorite is Attack on Titan.

The storyline is insanely gripping, and you're left guessing at the end of every episode as to what is going to happen next!
